Pricing without guesswork

RAM buyback prices: what affects your offer?

RAM values move with wholesale demand, density, speed, manufacturer and test risk. We review the market manually each Friday, then publish a controlled price list used by the quote calculator.

What affects your offer?

Capacity and generation matter, but they are only the start. Demand is often strongest for matched, high-capacity server modules from established manufacturers.

  • DDR generation and speed
  • Capacity per module
  • ECC, RDIMM or LRDIMM type
  • Manufacturer and exact part number
  • Quantity, condition and current demand

Published price, protected decision

An unaccepted quote expires after 72 hours. Once accepted in time, its price is saved with the exact published price revision and cannot be silently changed by a later Friday update.

Buyback value is not a retail price

A shop price for a new kit is not an offer for your used modules. Our buyback quote applies to the exact RAM you describe, subject to receipt and testing. This page explains valuation; use the quote form for an available price, or request manual review if your part is not listed.

Questions answered

Useful detail before you decide.

Do prices change every Friday?

They are reviewed every Friday. A review may confirm existing prices or publish a new revision.

Can an accepted price be reduced?

Not because the market moved. A revised offer is only made if the received RAM differs from the accepted description or fails the agreed checks.
