Part number, capacity, quantity and condition per line are ideal. Separate confirmed counts from estimates.
Large quotes may be held for owner approval or declined if category and total purchasing limits would be exceeded.
Keep desktop, laptop and server stock in separate inventory groups. State whether counts are confirmed or estimated and whether modules were tested or simply removed from equipment. A mixed lot can be reviewed, but do not dispatch it before its contents and offer have been agreed.
Use the same quote reference for your inventory and parcel correspondence. Accepted quotes of £100 or more include a prepaid label issued within one working day. Discuss large or high-value consignments before dispatch; do not assume a collection service or particular insurance cover has been arranged.
